Our hand painted chalkboards are the perfect way to capture those special milestones and turn them into memories that last forever.
Every chalkboard that we make is different in some way. We try to never make two chalkboards the same, so that you are buying something totally unique. You can choose any theme (or ask for a surprise!) as long as it isn’t based on a copyright-protected idea, so for example we will never create a Disney, CBeebies, or Marvel theme. If you are not sure whether your idea can be created, please drop us an email and we’ll be able to help.
Chalkboards are wooden and are approximately 0.5cm thick.
The sizes are as follows:
A2- 42 x 59.4cm
A3- 29.7x42cm
A4- 21X29.7cm
A5- 14.8x21cm
A3 and A4 chalkboards are suitable for birthday boards. Please note that A5 size boards are not suitable for birthday boards- they're big enough to have a name and age or perfect for a little pregnancy announcement board.
Reusable Chalkboards
Reusable chalkboards have spaces left for you to fill in with your information. They are suitable for use with chalk pens but we recommend that you do not store your board away without wiping it first. You can write on the surface with a chalk pen and use a damp cloth to wipe it off. Never submerge your chalkboard in water, use anything abrasive on the surface or allow the back or sides of the board to get wet. Drying your chalk pen with a heat source eg a hair dryer will cause the chalk pen to ‘set in’ to the material and you will not be able to remove it. If you are ever unsure about caring properly for your chalkboard then we are happy to help.
